KWO & KSE
Centrifugal Pumps for Various Applications
The KSE and KWO series pumps are designed for demanding services such as wastewater, municipal sewage treatment plants, storm water, industrial effluent, and process water handling applications.

The extensive hydraulic range provides the customer with a broad variety of impeller/volute and hydraulic combinations to meet any type of application. The KSE high efficiency, enclosed impeller pump produces capacities up to 45,000 gpm with heads up 200 feet. The KWO open style impeller provides greater solids handling capabilities while maintaining high efficiencies.

The KSE and KWO series pumps are available in a wide variety of materials including cast iron, cast iron/stainless steel fitted, all stainless steel or special alloys upon request. The pumps are equipped with high efficiency, inverter duty rated, Class H insulation, explosion proof motors.

Features and Benefits

1. Water tight cable entrance
Water tight cable entrance with antiwicking block prevents incursion of water into motor even if the power cable is cut or damaged.

2. Continuous duty motor
Highly efficient, continuous duty, air filled motor assures low operating costs and maximum life expectancy.

3. Float sensor
Highly sensitive float type level sensor is extremely reliable and detects any incursion of liquid into seal chamber.

4. Severe duty mechanical seal
KJI Hydro's Triple Sealing System provides one of the most reliable sealing systems in the industry. The sealing system consists of double mechanical seals or tandem seals
having silicon carbide faces that operate independently in an oil bath. In addition, the lower mechanical seal is protected against contamination by an additional lip seal located directly behind the impeller. The unique combination of the lip seal, lower primary seal and upper secondary seal provide Triple Sealing protection for the submersible motor, ensuring greater reliability and all its many benefits - less downtime, lower maintenance costs and greater plant efficiency.

5. Unique discharge assembly
KJI Hydro has developed and patented a unique, bolt-on "Leak-Free" discharge elbow connection. Independent tests have shown that the Leak-Free ADC actually increases system efficiency by as much as 3-5%. Because of the bolt-on design, existing systems can be easily retrofitted for increased system efficiency.

KJI Hydro has developed a bolt-on discharge assembly that allows the configuration of the pump to be easily changed from a 90° elbow, free standing style to the ADC (automatic discharge connection) shown below. In addition, this patented design allows spark-proof connection hardware or worn discharge components to be easily changed without having to remachine or replace the pump volute casing.
